Future Work Priorities on Environmental Protection
環境局於2007年7月20日向立法會環境事務委員會簡介政府在保護環境、保育生態資源及可持續發展方面面對的主要挑戰、策略方針及政策措施。
On 20 July 2007, the Environment Bureau briefed the Legislative Council Panel on Environmental Protection on the Government's major challenges, strategic directions and policy initiatives in various areas of environmental protection, ecological resources conservation and sustainable development.

擬在大鴉洲興建液化天然氣接收站對環境造成的影響
Environmental impacts arising from the proposed construction of a Liquefied Natural Gas Receiving Terminal at South Soko Island
立法會環境事務委員會於二零零七年七月二十日之會議上討論青山發電有限公司擬在大鴉洲興建天然氣接收站之工程項目。會議上，十七個關注組織的代表就該項目表達了不同的意見。環境事務委員會將在九月中旬再次討論該項目。
The LegCo Environmental Affairs Panel discussed the Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal project proposed by the Castle Peak Power Company Limited at its meeting on 20 July 2007. At the meeting, deputations from 17 concerned parties expressed diverse views on the proposal. The Panel will meet again in mid-September.
