Public sewerage for Pak Shek Kok

The Environmental Protection Department published in the Government Gazette today (Friday) a plan to construct a public sewerage system to serve the Pak Shek Kok development area.

The works, which will be carried out at the south of the development area by the Territory Development Department, are scheduled to start in late 1999 for completion in mid 2001.

Details of the plan, in both English and Chinese, have been posted on the notice boards near the site of the proposed sewerage works for public inspection.

Copies of the plan are also available for inspection at the following locations:

  2. Environmental Protection Department Headquarters, 28th floor, Southorn Centre, 130 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong;

  3. Local Control Office (Territory North) of Environmental Protection Department, Units 1101-1110 & 1119-1121, Level 11, Tower 1, Grand Central Plaza, 138 Sha Tin Rural Committee Road, Sha Tin, New Territories;

  4. Sha Tin District Lands Office, 2 Tung Lo Wan Hill Road, Sha Tin, New Territories;

Any person who wishes to raise objection to the above proposal is required to send his submission in writing to the Director of Environmental Protection on or before November 17, 1998.
