Of the total expenditure of $ 7.709 billion on departmental activities in 2022 under General Revenue Account, 19.7% was for staff costs, 26.6% for general recurrent expenses, 17.4% for capital and non-recurrent expenditure and 36.3% for fees for the operation of waste management facilities.
