Joss Paper and Paper Artifacts Burning

19 May 2014 Workshop on Environmental Worshipping
The workshop aimed to enhance understanding of the premises owners and operators of Chinese temples, crematoria, funeral parlours, organizers of Yu Lan festival, housing estates and similar places on air pollution control measures, and encourage them to reduce air pollution nuisance by promoting alternative forms of worshipping. It introduced the design, operation and maintenance of environmentally friendly air pollution control equipment based on Best Available Technology (BAT). The seminar was also equipped with an experience sharing session in which the representative from the Tung Wah Group of Hospital (TWGH) shared with the audience his experience in using air pollution control equipment with BAT, and various environmental worshipping measures adopted by the TWGH.

Mr. Simon Ng of the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals shared their experience in using the air pollution control based on BAT, and various measures in environmental worshipping.
Mr. Raymond Fong of the HKPC shared his experience in developing joss paper and paper artefacts burners equipped with air pollution control equipment.
