Proposed Amendments to the Noise Control Ordinance (Cap. 400) to Control Domestic Renovation Noise

Summary:

The Government proposes amendments to the Noise Control Ordinance, Cap. 400, to control domestic renovation noise and introduce a fixed penalty system, with a view to effectively improve the associated noise problem. The consultation will last for two months until 17 February 2024. Members of the public are welcome to offer their views.
