We Care for Victoria Harbour ~ Eco Kids' Drawing Contest

Objective: 
To promote environmental awareness of primary school students in caring for the Victoria Harbour.

Organizers: 
1. Environmental Protection Department (EPD) and
2. Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK)

Co-organizer: Environmental Campaign Committee (ECC)
Sponsor: Young Artists' Workshop

Details of the Scheme:
1. This contest is offered to all primary schools in Hong Kong.
2. Each participating primary school can nominate one to two outstanding student representatives with talent in art to participate in this contest.

3. Competition will be divided into three sessions.
1st session 9:00 am to 11:30 am
2nd session 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm on
3rd session * 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm
* Participants of the third session will be invited to attend the Launching Ceremony. Total number of participants is about 700.

4. Participants will sketch Victoria Harbour at the Cultural Centre Promenade under the supervision of art tutors in the assigned session.
5. Participants should bring their own drawing board (A3 size) and tools (colour pencil, Crayon and sketch pen).
6. Outstanding artworks will be exhibited in the Central Library in August 2003.
7. Priority will be given to the first nominated student and the remaining will be randomly drawn.

Please complete and return the attached application form to the Community Relations Unit of Environmental Protection Department by fax at 2827 8138 or by mail to Environmental Education Officer, Room 4522, 45/F, Revenue Tower, 5 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong (Attn.: Ms Yvonne CHOI).

Awards:
Divided into Junior (P1 to P2), Intermediate (P3 to P4) and Senior (P5 to P6) Group. Awards of each Group are shown below:

Champion Cash Prize $1000 and Souvenir
First Runners-up Cash Prize $800 and Souvenir
Second Runners-up Cash Prize $500 and Souvenir
20 Outstanding participants Souvenir
