Lions International Youth Exchange 2003 Qualifying Competition Final Competition

To enhance students' awareness of environmental protection, broaden their horizons, increase their English proficiency, research and computer skills, the Lions International Youth Exchange 2003 Qualifying Competition is being organised by the Lions Clubs International, District 303 - Hong Kong & Macau, Lions Club of Braemar Hill, Association of English Medium Secondary Schools and the Environmental Protection Department.

The Competition has selected 50 outstanding Form 4 - 7 students (download the document) to participate in Lions International Youth Exchange at some 50 cities in North America, Europe and Asia in this summer.

On 22 February 2003, the Final Competition cum Top 50 Outstanding Students Award Presentation and Essays Exhibition were held at Central Atrium of Olympian City 2. The top 10 students presented their essays with the aid of PowerPoint in the final competition. After a series of exciting presentations, Janice Sin of Heep Yunn School, Clara Cheung of St. Paul's Convent School and Theresa Chow of Diocesan Girls' School won the Championship, 1st Runner-up and 2nd Runner-up awards respectively.
