Environmental Campaign Committee has launched the "Roving Promotion on Plastic Bottles Recycling" in 186 public rental housing estates of Hong Kong Housing Authority and Hong Kong Housing Society. The aim is to enhance and promote residents' environmental awareness on recycling domestic waste, particularly plastic bottles.
Residents are encouraged to tender plastic bottles in exchange for some environmental souvenirs. A talk on "Waste Reduction, Separation and Recycling" is simultaneously delivered to the participating residents. "Fishing is Fun" educational programme is also held.
