Remarks:

The objective of the construction partnership programme is to enhance environmental awareness and to develop training tools for use of the industry on environmental protection. Of the many activities embraced in the programme, the conference which is jointly organised by the Hong Kong Construction Association (HKCA) and EPD, supported by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, provides a platform for professionals in the industry to share with each other their construction and environmental protection experience.

Enrolment Form & Run Down

The Guest of Honor of the conference is Mr Y C LO, JP, Permanent Secretary for the Environment, Transport and Works (Transport and Works). Other distinguished guest speakers from developers, contractors and lawyers are invited to talk on topics related to the new changes and challenges facing the construction industry. "Partnership" inevitably plays an important role in this new era of Hong Kong development.

Also launching at the Conference are the "Green Construction Information Corner" website and the Best Practice Guide. The Hon Abraham RAZACK, JP, LegCo Member and representatives from HKCA/EPD will officiate at the launching ceremony.

About 300 participants who are senior managers from the construction industry will attend the conference.
