List of environmental impact assessments released

The Environmental Protection Department (EPD) today (January 12) released a list of completed and on-going statutory environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and non-statutory environmental studies for major development projects between October 1, 2004 and December 31, 2004.

Completed statutory EIAs and non-statutory environmental studies:

A. Statutory EIAs:

1) Renewable Energy by a Wind Turbine System on Lamma Island (The Hong Kong Electric Co. Ltd.)

2) Tai Po Sewage Treatment Works, Stage V (Drainage Services Department)
