9 pollution convictions in March
Nine convictions were recorded last month (March) for breaches of anti-pollution legislation enforced by the Enviromental Protection Department.
Three of the convictions were under the Air Pollution Control Ordinance and six under the Noise Control Ordinance.
The heaviest fine in March was $75,000, assessed against a company carried out notifiable works not in accordance with the construction dust regulation.
