Wan Chai Environmental Resource Centre temporarily closed for maintenance
The Wan Chai Environmental Resource Centre (ERC) will temporarily be closed for two weeks from June 5 to 17 (both days inclusive) for necessary maintenance works, a spokesman for the Environmental Protection Department said today (May 31).
The Centre which has been in service since 1993 is a declared monument located at 221 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai.
"During the two-week maintenance period for the century-old monument, it is necessary to temporarily close the Centre to safeguard the safety of visitors and staff of the Centre," the spokesman said.
During the temporary closure, members of the public can still visit the ERCs in Fanling and Tsuen Wan as well as the Mobile ERC. They are also welcome to call the hotline of Wan Chai ERC at 2893 2856 for enquiries.
