ACE Open Forum on Review of Air Quality Objectives

The public forum held by the Advisory Council on the Environment (ACE) on the Review of Air Quality Objectives (AQOs) today (September 18) received encouraging response from stakeholders, concerned groups, academics, green groups and the public participated.
The attendants expressed views on the nature of air pollution problems and control programmes in Hong Kong; the regional approach in tackling air pollution; international development on air quality standards; and reviewing local AQOs and the need for public engagement.
