Construction of the scheme is to be carried out by the Drainage Services Department. It is scheduled to start in July, 2008, and will take about 27 months to complete, he said.

Details of the Mang Kung Uk Sewerage Scheme were published in the Government Gazette on August 18 and 25 last year and January 19 and 26 and June 1 and 8 this year.

Approval for the sewerage scheme was gazetted today.
