Cultivation Overview

A total of 45 sub-sites were surveyed for Cultivation and only 9 of them showed 100% accuracy. Apart from those which have become developed or industrial storage areas, most of the mis-classified sites were occupied by shrubs and grasses and were thus re-classified as either Mixed Shrubland, Shrubby Grassland or Grassland (Table 6.1l). Some of the cultivated land was found to be wet and the habitat nature had changed to "wetland-like" and were thus recommended to be re-categorised as Freshwater/Brackish Wetland.
